About Us

The Washington Township Volunteer Fire Co. is a 100% Volunteer Fire Company located south of the City of Pittsburgh in Belle Vernon, Fayette County, PA. The WTVFC is currently under the command and leadership of Chief Josh Rozik and President Dennis Fowler and staffs a man power of 37 active members. We serve our community proudly with not only fire suppression but also vehicle rescue, water supply and First Responder IRP. Every one of our members is certified in CPR/First Aid, as well as several members maintaining PA DOH certifications as EMTs and Paramedics.

We are also a proud participating department in the Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner Certification Program.
