Trailer Fire Asst. Sta 19

On March 4, 2010 at approx 0121 hours Station 19 Grindstone was dispatched for a possible trailer on fire. Truck 42 and Rescue 42 was on the initial dispatch which Truck 42 marked en route with 6 volunteers and Rescue 42 had 5 volunteers on board. 19 Engine 2 marked en route with heavy fire in the area and shortly after confirmed fully involved trailer fire. Upon arriving Captain 42 took a three man crew to the A/B Corner to start pulling the siding off for better access inside the trailer to hit the remaining hot spots from the exterior. Rescue 42 assisted with lighting up the scene and the rest of the 42 crew stood bye. All 42 units operated on scene until 0320 hours. Westmoreland County Station 80 North Belle Vernon Stood bye in their station while all 42 units operated on scene.
